Xbox 360 Tops Sales in October

Information released on sales figures for the ever-popular Xbox 360 show that the console topped the consoles sales chart for the month of October.

Reports show over 393,000 units were sold (that's 13,000 a day) over the October period. It's the eighth month in which Microsoft has held a 40% stake in the console sales market. October's hardware / accessories spending in the U.S topped 490 million dollars.

Microsoft's Xbox 360 is also the only current console showing double-figure growth suggesting that more people are moving to the Xbox or just simply upgrading after the 250 S was released last year as a facelifted Xbox 360.
