New Xbox for 2013

While some reports hinted the new Xbox to be coming next year, they have been sweeped away and replaced with new rumours of a 2013 release.

The release was hinted by analysts to come mid-2013, few expecting it any earlier than that... Most likely to release the console when the U.S. and Canada have their summer holidays.

Credible rumours suggesting the new console have arisen from firms such as Lionhead Studios who are working on a project called 'Fable Next' who are building it for a new console. Another rumour denied by EA Games was regarding EA having their hands on some new console technology already.

While Microsoft has quashed the rumours, any expected release of the new console is predicted to co-incide with the Unreal Engine 4 which was announced last month.
